In 2023 we launched Monteviot Lights and took this stunning winter event from strength to strength in 2024. Thank you to all of you who visited us in our first two years! Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to provide the same experience this year, in 2025. However, we hope to be back better than ever for 2026 and beyond! Introducing the Scottish Borders First Winter Light Trail: Monteviot Lights
Prepare to be enchanted as Monteviot House & Gardens unveils its inaugural winter light trail event, Monteviot Lights, illuminating the natural beauty of the Scottish Borders on nine dates between November 30th to December 10th, 2023. This captivating spectacle promises to be a magical experience for families and visitors of all ages.

Janusz Piotrowicz – Chopin Recital
A Chopin recital not to be missed and benefitting from acclaimed acoustics in The Great Hall at Monteviot House. Tickets include a glass of wine on Thursday 28th March and a buffet with a glass of wine on Friday 29th March.

Spring update
Garden news, floral interest in the month of May at Monteviot, Rhododendron, Camellia, Magnolia and Skimmia, later spring bulbs including Camassia and drifts of Erythronium

Winter Colour
March is the month when the garden at Monteviot awakens from its not always peaceful winter slumbers.

House Opening 2020
Monteviot House will be open to the public Monday 1st – Monday 29th July (closed Monday 8th/15th/22nd). Opening times 12pm – 5pm, last entry 4pm.
