Monteviot House Winter GardenCreated during 2008 to 2010 in a former pasture field to the east of Monteviot, the Winter Garden features 400 newly planted trees chosen for their coloured bark and planted in drifts of 30 or more.  Underplanted are generous drifts of shrubs including Viburnum, Cornus, Salix and Hellebores.  The Shrubs and trees are complemented by large drifts of over 1000 late winter and early Spring bulbs including Dutch Iris, Winter Aconite and Anemones.
